- I have been training and working with dogs as both a hobby and a career for nearly a decade now. I aspire to run my own business training, breeding, and raising personal protection and Schutzhund dogs. I'd also like to run a rescue for last-chance dogs, taming the beast within and fitting them with well-qualified adoptive families. I currently run my own dog training business in San Diego and enjoy every minute of it. I plan on getting a degree in zoology, animal sciences, and animal behavior so that I may also observe and understand canines at their roots, in their primitive forms. If you can't afford it, you're not mentally or physically prepared, or you're looking to schmooze a quick buck, stay away from the animals. For those of you who can take it, welcome.
